Wrestlemania is tonight and I’m watching it.

I watched WWE Smackdown last night for the first time in years and saw this segment.
The puppets and this masked man have me all the way back in and evidently John Cena is going to face this guy appropriately named “The Fiend.” Hate on wrestling all you want but if this doesn’t put a smile on your face, I don’t know what’s wrong with you. I also could not stand watching that NBA 2k tournament with all the NBA players playing a video game live on ESPN because if I wanted to watch someone play 2K poorly, I’d play myself.
Also before I get all this flack about how wrestling is fake and what not, there is literally nothing else on television. Being born in 1990 I basically grew up watching WWF not WWE as it is called now. So like going to see a Rolling Stones concert, it’s time to play the hits.
Those were the days when you went to school and as a greeting all the kids would do the DX crotch chop as a greeting while you went to school and had your square slice of pizza and milk. So yes in a bit of nostalgia I’m going to watch Wrestlemania 36 tonight and hope it’s at least somewhat entertaining and I’ll provide a recap Monday because this year it’s on Saturday and Sunday.
Goldberg! Goldberg! Goldberg! He’s apparently wrestling too.
