For the first time since 2013, The Chargers clinched a trip to the playoffs with a victory that snapped a nine-game losing streak, against the Chiefs. The Los Angeles Chargers battled back from a 14 points deficit to beat the Kansas City Chiefs 29-28 at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday night.
Down by seven with just under three minutes remaining, the LA marched 60 yards on eight plays. With less than 10 seconds on the clock. Chargers quarterback found second-year pro Mike Williams. Instead of kicking the extra point for the tie, Chargers coach Anthony Lynn went for two on the road.
With the win, Los Angels improved to 11-3 and are still in contention for the AFC’s top seed. They are now tied with Kansas City for the best record in the conference.
