PSR Free Daily Pick 4/5/21

by Preston Ekdahl

We were able to get a nice easy win yesterday as the Boston Celtics romped to a 30 point victory against the Charlotte Hornets easily covering the -9 spread. The record currently sits at 18-9 for the year. Tonight we head to Brooklyn as the Brooklyn Nets host the New York Knicks in a battle of New York. James Harden makes his return to the Nets having missed the last two games and that will be a welcome sight for Kyrie Irving who can now let James facilitate the offense and kick it to him for wide open looks. Now Julius Randle will create havoc for the Nets and Blake Griffin is rested tonight so their already depleted frontcourt will likely be ravaged by Randle. That being said when the going gets tough and you need players to play to their potential, I’m putting the ball in the Brooklyn Net’s players hands and not the New York Knicks.  This is just a class difference in talent and having lost yesterday and seeing it as an in-state rivalry Brooklyn will not let up.
