We got home last night as the OKC Thunder took care of business winning outright on the road against the Boston Celtics easily giving us the win to bring the record to 20-13 on the year. Tonight we head down to South Beach and Miami, Florida as the Miami Heat host the San Antonio Spurs. This just is not the same Miami Heat team as they were last year where they made that run to the NBA Finals, injuries have riddled them all year long and they just have been unable to find a groove which will cost them against the better teams in the NBA. Now the Spurs did just win a thriller last game out winning 146-143 in overtime against a streaking Washington Wizard team and they are battling to secure a playoff spot as are the Heat. Derrick White did go down last game but it is looking like the Heat will be without both Kendrick Nunn and Tyler Herro. Jakob Poeltl can do enough to disrupt Bam on the block and DeMar has been playing like a man possessed to where I can’t see Jimmy Butler just dominating that matchup. This is a tale of two teams going in opposite directions and it just comes down to the fact that the Spurs are playing better.
