[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]EPL is back… Weekly I will breakdown each match and give you picks from a betting perspective to help beat the books… here we go….

Friday evening’s opening match:

-Liverpool v Norwich City: I wont be wagering on this one, Norwich should get teared open though, a road match in Anfield out of the gate as the new club in the league is rough. OVER has some value here. I think Pool bags 3 goals here and Norwich can find the back of the net with the uptempo style they play with. Liverpool gets an easy victory… 3-1… PICK: NO WAGER

-West Ham United v Man City: I think the value here could be in the goal scoring individual market, I’m not totally sold on the WHU defense coming into the season and as we know City is one of the best attacking teams in the world. With Kevin Debruyne back, Raheem Sterling should thrive in the centralized attacking role that he was in last week ,and with 48 goals over the last 2 seasons a goal seems to be coming here. PICK: Raheem Sterling to score anytime (-110)

-Bournemouth v Sheffield United: I picked Sheffield to go down, but in this game they show some fight out of the gate. I think there will be goals here, both teams play an attacking brand of football. Last season outside of the bottom 2 clubs, Bournemouth conceded the most goals and I don’t know that much changes this season. Both clubs will attack here and goals are on the menu. PICK: OVER 2.5 (-110)

-Burnley v Southampton: Two very similar teams, grind you down and hope to escape with points. This season I don’t expect much difference… this game screams 1-1 to me, but i like the new manager down in SH and that could propel them to a late winner here from Danny Ings, but the road numbers for SH are hard to bet on… i’m passing here. PICK: NO WAGER

-Crystal Palace v Everton: Everton is an interesting team for me this year. I like this side and like what they’ve done by adding Fabian Delph at LB, but the road numbers from last year need to improve and I think they do, They are a better side than CP, and Palace has been a cauldron after making virtually no signings and losing Wan Bissaka. Everton gets a road win here 2-1… PICK: Everton ML (+135)

-Watford v Brighton: Really nice spot for Watford here at home against a poor opponent out of the gate. Brighton has a new manager who has never coached at this level and to me is a relegation candidate. Love this spot for an upstart Watford side with some promise this year. Since Brighton joined the PL in 2017, they’ve played 38 road games. They’ve won just 5 of them and lost 24. Watford win 2-0. PICK: Watford ML (-110)

-Tottenham v Aston Villa: Spurs are back at home after a stadium construction last year and this is a great opponent to start the season with. Aston Villa have indeed went all out in spending for their return to the PL, still though many on this side are just not good enough.. I think they struggle out of the gate, especially against a side at the level of Tottenham, still though for me I will look at other games and pass here. For some reason Tottenham win a lot of matches 1-0 and at -335 and not wanting to lay 1.5, i’ll pass. PICK: NO WAGER

-Leicester City v Wolves: I think this will be one of the better matches of the weekend. Each of these sides i’m particularly high on, Leicester will have to find a way to patch a defense that’s now lost Harry Mcguire. Wolves love to go forward with a solid front line and with Vardy up front for Leicester…. goals are on the menu here. I’d look surely for both teams to score. PICK: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (-110)

-Newcastle v Arsenal: Two really interesting teams here. Newcastle are a mess, the fan base hates ownership and with protests abound, this match will be interesting at St James Park. Arsenal are really good going forward, but as usual the defense is a concern even with recent signings theywill take a little time to get going. Throw in Arsenals horrific road record recently and last year, this game is surely just a watch for me. LOOK, on paper Arsenal should win but they’re a team I just can’t trust. PICK: NO WAGER

-Manchester United v Chelsea: A great way to end the weekend, two storied sides with interesting off seasons. United have lost Lukaku and Chelsea have lost Hazard and David Luiz and have a new manager in Frank Lampard. Still though, plenty of talent on both sides. But I have a feeling Christian Pulisic is the difference in this game. This number is too big to pass up PICK: Chelsea ML +250
