The NFL Draft is scheduled to happen April 23-25 and unless down the road it’s cancelled I bet accordingly. I’m sure there are many contingency plans. Where it is will be is a question, and there will be no fans. However I wanna talk about football, and i’m not gonna worry about if it gets cancelled. If it does, it does. I am working on my full 3 round mock and I can’t wait to attack it. Here’s what I bet right away:

I found all these lines at DraftKings and are at others as well.

Makhi Becton UNDER 8.5 (-110) I personally love Becton and if I was a GM, he’d be first of the board to me, but the consensus seems to like Wirfs and Wills Jr a bit better. To me they are totally wrong, He is a mammoth human being at 6’7 367 and runs a 5.1 40 which is pretty unbelievable. He actually was the heaviest player at the combine. 2-3 teams in the top 8 I think could take a lineman and he fits the profile more than really anyone. You can’t get around him in pass protection and run blocking it’s like trying to stop a boulder coming down a hill. This number is too high.

Jeffrey Okudah UNDER 4.5 (+144) If the Lions don’t trade this pick, which is entirely possible, they should sprint to the commissioner with this selection. Okudah is quite possibly one of the best CB prospects in years, and with the trade of Darius Slay it’s imperative the Lions add to a shutdown corner to a solid defense. Matt Stafford will be back to a really good offense and if they want to attack a QB they can do it with a pick in the early 2nd round. Okudah is a rare breed, one with unbelievable instincts, motivation, length and the willingness to unload on someone if needed. Very few flaws.

UNDER 0.5 Running Backs selected in first round (+240) Another price I was surprised by. This draft is one of the more talent rich drafts i’ve seen in many years. The plethora of high level WR, defensive players and OL make it a cauldron and I just don’t see a RB that’s first round talent worthy. I guess I could see a situation where one could slide in late but as this price it’s worth a risk. There’s just too much positional value elsewhere to warrant taking a running back early.
