So now that I have that out of the way, let’s look at some of the dates that have been rumored for Dallas. XD
Week One New York Giants at Dallas
Thank goodness we’re back to how the way things are supposed to be. If its kickoff weekend, the Giants should play in Dallas. It just makes sense to have NYG vs DAL at the bottom of the screen on the first weekend of Football. Playing against Carolina last year just felt unnatural.
Week Five Green Bay at Dallas
YAHOOOOOO There are few teams I love to hate more than Green Bay. Sure there’s the Texans, but they don’t matter. There’s Pittsburgh but they’ve never been relevant to us in my lifetime. Of course, there’s the rest of the NFC East, I love hating them, but there’s something special about playing Green Bay. It’s always interesting. It’s always fun. It always matters down the stretch.
Week 12 Dallas at New England
I’ve been looking forward to this for a while now. Last time we played NE I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to get it, but three Super Bowl appearances, and two wins later, NE is a whole new level of importance. This is America’s Team vs America’s Worst Nightmare. This is the Battle of The Alamo vs the Boston Tea Party. This is the Wild West vs The Cradle of Liberty. This is Dallas vs New England.
Week 13 Miami at Dallas Thanksgiving Day
What? I guess we’re having dolphin instead of turkey this year.
Week 14 Dallas at Chicago
I really have nothing against the Bears. Our mutual hatred of Green Bay almost forms a kinship between the two franchises fan bases. We are very similar teams, a decent offense that can produce fireworks at random times with the top two defenses in any given week.
This will be a fun season, to say the least. Needless to say, I’m excited already. This is gonna be a year for the record books. I’ve been saying it all off-season, this is our division to lose. Miami or Bust.
God Bless America, God Bless Texas, and God Bless the Dallas Cowboys.
