BMOC Premier League Picks For Matchday 9

by Pub Sports Radio Admin

Fresh off another international break… time to get back at the Premier League.. Sitting at 27-25 +11.85 units of the season… lets keep the good mojo going and try to find some more winners in the Premier League. Here’s what I have for you…

EVERTON V WEST HAM: West Ham continue to impress me, defensively they’ve improved significantly, and right now just keeping possession has been tough for Everton. They just aren’t very good and can’t score goals. Don’t really think they should be a favorite to anyone. PICK: West Ham DRAW Double Chance (draw is a win too) (-120)

ASTON VILLA V BRIGHTON: Tough one here. Villa I like for the most part. They defend at a high level and Brighton seem to play scrappy and hang around. This game screams draw to me. A lot of missed opportunities and playing the ball around the touch line. 1-1 looks good. PICK: DRAW (+230)

BOURNEMOUTH V NORWICH CITY: No team is worse defensively in the Premier League over Norwich. They have conceded 21 goals and are lost right now at the back. Bournemouth is never the team you wanna face in that state due to there high pressing nature and ability to score goals. Our boy Teemu Pukki hasn’t scored in 2 straight PL matches, but over the international break he found the goal a couple times, he gets back after it against the Cherries who love to concede as well. PICK: Teemu Pukki to score anytime (+130)

CHELSEA V NEWCASTLE: Chelsea will win this match. They haven’t been great defensively, but this is a great spot to go out and hopefully keep a clean sheet. A road game for Newcastle who has been a mess going forward. Just 5 goals in 8 matches. This screams 2 or 3 nil. PICK: Chelsea -1.5 (-110)

LEICESTER CITY V BURNLEY: Leicester have been a big time story this season in the PL. They have been solid going forward and great at home. We know though what Burnley does they generally grind games like this out and grab a point. Both team will score and there could be a late winner. I don’t want to guess who it will be. But I like something. PICK: Both teams to score a goal (-105)

TOTTENHAM V WATFORD: I rarely ever bet Tottenham matches, and have no interest in anything even close to Watford. I have no problem avoiding this match. There are much better options out there. PICK: PASS

WOLVES V SOUTHAMPTON: 2 teams that have been very solid this season and sit in the middle and bottom half of the table. Wolves generally play down to competition, and Southampton usually is okay with a point. Just a tough game to analyze. I prefer Wolves when they step up in competition. PICK: PASS

CRYSTAL PALACE V MANCHESTER CITY: Palace has been one of the better defensive clubs in the league, and this week it’s going to be how long can they handle the City pressure before they concede. Once they do, the flood gates will open and I don’t trust Palace to even put enough possession to score here. Could be a long day at Selhurst Park. PICK: Manchester City win to nil (+120)

MANCHESTER UNITED V LIVERPOOL: United has basically quit on the season and numerous big time players may not play this week. Liverpool will win but laying a larger number on the road with other matches to get involved with at the weekend just doesn’t do much for me. PICK: PASS

SHEFFIELD UNITED V ARSENAL: Arsenal seem to be getting everybody hack from injury, especially in defense which bodes well for them being so good going forward. I don’t love betting them on the road but they will dispel an average Sheffield side… Arsenal will win. PICK: Arsenal (-105)
