BMOC Premier League Picks For Matchday 19

Written by on December 23, 2019

The Christmas season is here, and we are back with Boxing Day matches for Thursday December 26th. Last week was another great week as I went 4-2 and added 3.90u of profit. On the season I continue to fly on the profit train sitting at 57-52 for +17.90 units. These big money line dogs have been paying off. Here’s what I have for you:

TOTTENHAM V BRIGHTON: Tottenham over the years continues to be a thorn in my side. Doesn’t matter when I back them, if i bet them they get worked. If I bet against them they look like the best team in the world. No interest in this match whatsoever. PICK: PASS

ASTON VILLA V NORWICH: Norwich blew a lead over the weekend to Wolves which isn’t surprising. This side continue to be one of the worst in the league and Teemu Pukki hasn’t been a factor like he was early in the season. Add in the fact, that they have conceded 37 goals, the most in the league. Villa isn’t much better though and both are in the relegation 3. Another rough match. PICK: PASS

BOURNEMOUTH V ARSENAL: First full game for Arteta as manager. That should give Arsenal a major pep in their step, particularly going forward. The defense is still a mess and I would never trust it on the road. Bournemouth aren’t a great side, but they should contribute here. PICK: Both teams score a goal and OVER 2.5 (-120)

CHELSEA V SOUTHAMPTON: Chelsea really impressed me over the weekend with a 2 nil clean sheet against Spurs. This week, they fact a really bad defensive side at home in Southampton. SH have conceded 37 on the season and this one could get ugly. Seems like a 3-0, 3-1 type of match to me at Stamford Bridge. PICK: Chelsea -1.5 (+105)

CRYSTAL PALACE V WEST HAM: Tough match to call her between 2 sides that have taken their lumps this year in the league. Still though Palace is mighty good in defense and are at home in this one. They have only conceded 15 goals in 18 matches and the under has come in in 7 of 8 overall. PICK: UNDER 2.5 goals (-110)

EVERTON V BURNLEY: First full match for new manager Carlo Ancelloti at Everton. Generally as I said earlier, new managers often give a team a shot in the arm. Burnley is a tough side that make you work for everything. Tough match and i’ll admit I was temped by the big price on the away side, but i’ll move on. PICK: PASS

SHEFFIELD UNITED V WATFORD: I love this Sheffield side. They are terrific defensively and are quietly 5th in the league. Watford is awful and i’m not getting excited about a win over the weekend. They still have just 11 goals on the season and will struggle mightily on the road in this one. PICK: Sheffield United to win to nil (+190)

MANCHESTER UNITED V NEWCASTLE: If you would’ve told me that these 2 sides would be 8th and 9th in the league at Christmas, i’d of told you that you were totally nuts. Newcastle have been very good and impressive as hell on the road. This price is too high for a scrappy side. PICK: Newcastle +1.5 (-120)

LEICESTER V LIVERPOOL: This one is going to be the matchup. My concern with Leicester was there issue of beating quality opponents. They faced one over the weekend against City and got flattened. They get yet another this weekend. Last week, Jamie Vardy continued to fly high and score goals for me at a big price. He has scored 11 goals over the last 9 games. If it’s not broke I will not try and fix it. PICK: Jamie Vardy to score a goal anytime (+120)
