BMOC Premier League Picks For Matchday 10

by Pub Sports Radio Admin

Another week another dollar on the pitch, we are back for Matchday 10 and the predictions. Last week my first poor week in awhile going 2-4. Luckily due to my continued ability to find big prices i am still doing well on the season. Currently I sit at 29-29 +9.90 units. Very fine season through 9 weeks. Lets get into Matchday 10!

SOUTHAMPTON V LEICESTER: Leicester continues to be a terrific defensive team and are right near the top of the table. This will be a tough one for Southampton as they just can’t score but Leicester only has one road win this season and this trip is always tough. Think we see 0-0 honestly. But i’m avoiding and getting ready for the weekend. PICK: PASS

MANCHESTER CITY V ASTON VILLA: 5 straight OVERS in Villa games! Now they get mighty Man City who leads the league with 29 goals in 9 games. The bookmakers have taken all the value out of this game, even in the goal scorers market. No opinion here. PICK: PASS

BRIGHTON V EVERTON: Two teams that struggle to find the back of net. Plus a long trip to the south for Everton. I think this one is played a lot around the touchline, we know normally both these teams are solid in defense. Draw looks good.. could see a late goal too. I can’t pick it but love it low scoring. PICK: UNDER 2.5 goals (-120)

WATFORD V BOURNEMOUTH: Watford are the worst team in the league and its not close. Keep in mind, they have scored just FIVE goals this season and have struggled defensively dead last in the league conceding 21 goals. I don’t love Bournemouth, but i love them going forward and this is simply a case where the wrong team is favored. Give me the Cherries at a big price. PICK: Bournemouth (+230)

WEST HAM UNITED V SHEFFIELD UNITED: 6 straight unders overall for Sheffield. The defense has been ROCK SOLID and they just don’t have a ton going forward. West Ham have scored just 5 goals over their last 6 games and I see a tough match played in the middle of the field. Very little creativity or heavy scoring chances. PICK: UNDER 2.5 goals (-110)

BURNLEY V CHELSEA; I have talked openly about Chelsea’s inability at times to keep goals out. I have also been good in spots to back them to clean sheet opponents. No way will I back that this week. Burnley have scored in 8 of 9 matches overall. PICK: Both teams score a goal (-140)

NEWCASTLE UNITED V WOLVES: I’ve said it before, I won’t really have interest in backing Wolves until they are eliminated out of the Europa League. It’s tough to be prepared for a game on a Sunday after you played on a Thursday. Also keep in mind Wolves was in Slovakia Thursday now have to travel up to the northeast to play Newcastle. On paper, Wolves should win but i’ll pass: PICK: PASS

ARSENAL V CRYSTAL PALACE: Arsenal are much better at home, but Unai Emery is a terrible manager and never gets the lineups right. I don’t trust there defense whatsover and Wilfred Zaha will give them problems. Could see a 2-1 type game. PICK: Both teams to score a goal and OVER 2.5  (-105)

LIVERPOOL V TOTTENHAM: The glitzy matchup of the weekend, but I hate Tottenham and Liverpool provides very little value. They should win here but i’m not laying over 1/2 and not laying goals either. PICK: PASS

NORWICH CITY V MANCHESTER UNITED: Norwich City’s parade in the Premier League seems to be over as they’ve lost 4 straight being outscored 9-1 over the time. Pukki has been off the score sheet for weeks and its hard to back this group. But with United coming off a Europa League match against tough Partizan Belgrade in Serbia… At plus money, ill bite again. PICK: Teemu Pukki to score anytime (+165)
